Johannesdal farm was founded in 1898 as a fruit farm in the heart of the Cape Winelands and situated in the fertile Banhoek valley along the Helshoogte road between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. Its beautiful and tranquil gardens are set against the breathtaking mountains of the Boland.

Johannesdal 1207 can accommodate up to 150 guests for the wedding itself, with nine rooms (sleeping 18) on the property.
