In Swahili, Ukuthula means peace and this is what you will experience on walking into this Kruger paradise. Ukuthula House is surrounded by a 4000ha reserve with over 10km of riverfront to enjoy and houses all of Africa’s Big 5 for incredible game viewing. For the golf lovers, the reserve is also a stone's throw away from six incredible golf courses, including the famous Leopard Creek.

Stepping into Ukuthula House transports you into a very special piece of Africa, where no detail has been overlooked. Driving into the entrance area you will be greeted by their wonderful staff who will become like family. Walk through the reception library into a Moroccan-inspired courtyard that will take your breath away. Through the kitchen and lounge, step onto your private pool deck with the most incredible river views ahead.

    House rules

    • No smoking in the house or bedrooms

    • No loud music or excessive noise (subject to fines from Mjejane Reserve)

    • Cars are only allowed to drive on the main road in and out of the reserve. Other roads are exclusively for open topped vehicles with ranger.

    • Speeding will lead to fines, the limit is 40km/h

    • No feeding of animals

    • Home and pool is to be used at own risk

  • R39 500 (up to 10 guests) per night, extra R1 750 per person per night up to 14 guests maximum.

    • Includes two games drives per day for 10 people. Extra vehicle and ranger costs approximately R2 600 per game drive.

    • Food and drinks shopping and unpacking before arrival: R750 + cost of groceries.

    • Entry fee into Mjejane Game Reserve: currently R350 per vehicle.

    • SIUC guest levy of R60 per person per night billed upon check-out.

    • Private chef (optional): R2500 per day.

    • Please enquire about the cost of transfers to and from Nelspruit MQP Airport.
